245th Maintenance Company Presentation Plaque
The company is under the United State Army constituted as the 82d Quartermaster Battalion on 1936 and was activated 15th of February in 1942 at Camp Gordon, Georgia. Redesignated in April 1, 1942 as the Company D or 82d Quartermaster Medium Maintenance Battalion. After 4 months, redesignated to 82 Ordanance Medium Company (Q). After five or more redesignation, it was withdrawn from the Regular Army.
The 245th Maintenance Company finally activated in 1972 at St. Louis, Missouri and ordered as an active military service in December 7, 2003 then released from active miltiary service in June 3, 2005 and revereted to reserve status.
