Marin County is located immediately North of the Golden Gate Bridge. Marin County Sheriff's office is responsible for the crime prevention and law enforcement sincemuch of Marin's 521 square miles is unincorporated. The sheriff's office is divided into three major bureaus: Administrative and Support Services, Detention Services and Field Services.
