The Field Artillery branch is under the US Army and founded in 1775. But the regiment formally in service on January 1, 1776. This branch has a tradition same with Air Defense Artillery. The main mission of this branch is to integrate and deliver lethal and non-lethal fires this is to enable maneuver commanders to govern their operational environment accross the spectrum of operations.
