The 307th Fighter Squadron (307 FS) is part of the 414th Fighter Group and stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. The mission of the 307 FS is to assist the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson to produce qualified F-15E aircrew. The squadron is planned to be operational by September 2011.

The 307th Fighter Squadron is also known as the Fighter squadron and it is a part of the Air Force Reserve Command Tenth Air Force. The squadron maintained combat readiness and performed worldwide deployments in support of US national interests between 1991 and 1995.
