The 355th Wing (355 WG) is a United States Air Force unit assigned to the Air Combat Command's Twelfth Air Force. It is stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona.
Mission: to provide close air support, air interdiction, forward air control, combat search and rescue, ground based tactical air control, and airbase operations.
It has more than 6,100 personnel, six flying squadrons and one geographically separated unit that is why it is considered as one of the largest wings in the Air Force. It is comprised of four groups. These are the: 355th Operations Group, 355th Logistics Group, 355th medical Group and 355th Support Group.
