The 13th Aviation:The winged sword in the 13th AVN’s emblem refers to the combat mission of the Battalion. The equilateral triangle/delta refers to the Mekong river delta, Vietnam where the organization served. The three colors used symbolize the three basic combat branches. The organization’s motto is Swift and Deadly.
