What is the plaque made of?

  • All products we manufacture: plaques, desk nameplates, shadowboxes we manufacture are made of mahogany wood. back to top

 

What is the turnaround time and quickest delivery time?

  • Standard Delivery time is approximately 6 weeks from the day after you place your order online.
  • Quickest delivery time is 2 weeks and a half for an additional price depending on the plaque size and quantity. back to top

 

Is the plaque design carved in the wood or just painted?

  • The plaque design is carved in the wood in 3D relief and painted in full color or as specified.
  • Your options include full color, natural mahogany wood tone, and metallic finished. back to top

 

What is the typical size of a podium plaque?

  • A 14” diameter plaque is a perfect size for podium and wall display. back to top

 

What is the standard thickness/depth of the plaque?

  • The standard depth for the seal and podium plaques is 1"; 3/4" for the shield and presentation plaques; and 1/2" for the wing and insignia plaques. The bigger the plaque the thicker it's depth. back to top

 

I can’t see the plaque I am looking for in your website can you make a custom design plaque of my logo, patch, badge or insignia?

  • Yes we can. Just send us the artwork for your logo, badge or insignias in a good resolution and we can definitely make it into a wood plaque. back to top

 

Will I see a proof of my custom plaque order before it proceeds to production?

  • Yes we always make sure that everything is correct with regards to your plaque specifications before it goes to production. As soon as you have paid your order and provide us with all the details you need for the plaque design, we will immediately render a digital mock up for your review and approval. The mock up design is typically ready the next day. back to top

 

I want to make sure I will receive the correct plaque i ordered, will you send me a proof?

  • Of course, at MilitaryPlaques.Com we value customer satisfaction. We will send you the image of the completed plaque, desk nameplate, shadowbox through your email. It will serve as a proof for your review before the plaque leaves the factory; we do not ship any item until we receive your approval email. Click here for further information. back to top

 

I've seen the approval image you sent, there's something I need to be corrected is it possible?

  • Definitely. As each of our plaques are individually made there are rare cases that some details/design of the plaque is made by mistake. We will definitely have this corrected in soonest possible time. Please note that this may stretch out the typical or expected delivery time depending on the correction that needs to be done.
  • If the the change that needs to be done is an additional request, or a detail that you missed to include during the placing of your order this will be subject to rework fee. Please click here and look under Rework Fees for further information.

 

I have a custom design plaque idea in my head but I don’t know where to start?

  • At MilitaryPlaques.Com we can help you through designing your custom plaque design. You can contact us for your detailed design specifications and we will create a mock up design for your review and approval before the plaque order goes to production. back to top

 

Do you ship to APO/FPO or outside US addresses?

  • Yes we ship worldwide and to any APO/FPO address.
  • Standard shipping to APO/FPO addresses is free. Delivery time is approximately 6 weeks or more depending on the courier schedule.
  • Shipping outside US will require additional price depending on the plaque size and quantity for the freight cost. Delivery time is approximate 3 weeks or less. back to top

 

What are your methods of payment?

  • Our plaques are typically prepaid through credit card. We accept all major credit card: American  Express, Master Card and Visa.
  • We also accept check payments. The check must be made out to:

Do you accept Purchase Orders?
 
  • Yes we do accept purchase order. Email us a copy of the PO to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your Payment Terms and Conditions for review and approval. When approved we will send you your order invoice with your order number, and  your order can proceed to production. back to top

 

Can I cancel my order?

  • Yes. If you want to cancel a paid order that did not proceed to production, cancelation is subject to $25.00 transaction fee. This will be deducted to the total amount you paid. Refund will be process typically within 2-3 days depending on your bank.
  • For order that already proceed to production, cancelations for unique design orders will incur a 100% cancelation fee. This is to reflect the labor cost and the unique nature of the product. Cancelations of stock items will incur a 50% re-stocking fee plus freight costs and should be returned to our distribution point in Indiana U. S. in the original packing material, the goods will be checked for damage prior to the refund being made. back to top

 

I received my plaque order but it was damaged, what should i do?

  • Take a picture of the damage plaque, and send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • If there's a need to replace the plaque/s, replacement takes same turnaround time following the actual order: approximately 6 weeks for standard order and 2 weeks for express order. The production team will try to finish the plaque/s as soon as possible but it will be depended on the production schedule. back to top
