TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
Approval Process for Custom Items
Prior to the dispatch of custom made items from our workshop customers will be
sent via email a high quality color image of their finished product for the
purposes of approval. Only after approval is given by the customer will a
custom product be dispatched to you. Please ensure that the email address you
give is valid and that any email filters are set to accept emails from both
MilitaryPlaques.Com and ConnectIntLLC.Com domains.
Check you email regularly for approval requests. If you will not be able to
check your email (for example you will be on deployment) send us an alternative
contact who is authorized to approve your order.
American Plaque Company is not liable for delivery delays caused by
non-receipt of customer approval.
Delivery Schedules
Custom made items are typically delivered with a 4-6 week period from the
confirmation of order. If you require your item by a specific date we
recommend you use the express service. American Plaque Company is not
liable for delays caused by the courier delivery companies.
Express Manufacture & Shipping Orders: If you have paid for an Express
Manufacture & Shipping Service you item will be manufactured
within a 2 week period of receiving full payment and confirmation of artwork.
Upon approval to ship the item will be shipped to you via FEdEx. American Plaque Company is
not liable for delays caused by the courier delivery companies. American Plaque Company also reserves the right to withdraw the Express SHipping
Service option on any product ordered and refund the express fee in full.
The American Plaque Company Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the outstanding quality of all of our plaques, shadow boxes and
desk nameplates. But we understand that things can and sometimes do go wrong.
If there's a defect with the materials or workmanship of your American Plaque Company product, or if was damaged in transit we'll issue you a
merchandise credit to buy a new product from our website.
Anytime, anywhere, no hassles.
Cancellation of order
Cancellations for unique design orders will incur a 100% cancellation fee. This
is to reflect the labor cost and the unique nature of the product. Cancellations
of stock items will incur a 50% re-stocking fee plus freight costs and should be
returned to our distribution point in Indiana U.S. in the original packing
material, the goods will be checked for damage prior to the refund being made.
Rework Fees
Corrections or alterations submitted by the customer after artwork has been
confirmed and the item has been submitted for approval (examples: wrong artwork
supplied, instructional lapses, additional logos, insertion of missed names on
lapses as per customer’s list supplied, re-positioning of artwork details,
re-designing as per customer’s request after review of approval photos) are
subject to the following fees:
Items/orders with a
retail price of $300.00 and below: $30.00
For items/orders
with a retail price of $301.00 and up: 10% of the retail price.
No rework will be carried out until the above fees are paid
in full. The customer must be aware
and accept that any rework will delay the shipping date and subsequent delivery
date.
Transaction Fees Any
additional transaction requested by the customer (e.g. cancellation of duplicate
order or cancelation of duplicate item within an order) is subject to a $25
transaction fee.
Warranty Policy Details
Notification of defects or damage in transit need to be sent to American Plaque Company via email within 5 business days of receipt of your items.
The day of receipt will be that day noted by the courier delivery company that
the item(s) were received and signed for. The Company will not process any claim
after this time period has elapsed.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
Once we receive your warranty claim, we will evaluate it. Warranties usually
take 2-3 business days to process. If the claim meets our guidelines, we will
replace your product or send merchandise credit which can be used at
www.militaryplaques.com.
All shipping costs will be covered by American Plaque Company in the event an
item has to be returned to The Company. You will be supplied with a courier
account number to use to return the items.
The manufacturing time for replacement custom made items is typically 4-6 weeks,
unless you opted for the Express Manufacture and FedEx Delivery Service where the replacement item(s)
will be manufactured within 2 weeks of the dispute resoultion and then shipped
via FedEx.
Returning a Item On Warranty
Once the warranty claim has been approved American Plaque Company will arrange for
the items to be returned to the company's warehouse. Please repack the
items in their original packaging.
NON-WARRANTY RETURNS
Custom Made or Stock Items
Non-stock/Custom made items that are made to order that have been approved by
the customer, shipped and received in good order but are
subsequently returned to us by agreement are subject to a 100% re-stocking
fee.
Stock Items
Stock items that are shipped but are subsequently returned to us by agreement
are subject to a 30% re-stocking fee plus freight charges.
