Independence Day in the United States is commonly known as the Fourth of July in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 — the day the wording of the Declaration was approved by the
Congress.
Americans celebrate their freedom with picnics, barbeques, parades, family gatherings and fireworks.
The declaration is written primarily by Thomas Jefferson and it explains why Congress had voted on July 2 to declare independence from Great Britain, more than a year after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War.
MilitaryPlaques.Com already made plaques for Independence Day. One good example of our plaque is the America, Love It or Leave It plaque which is a perfect gift to all military people for this holiday.
Our plaques are hand painted and hand carved from solid mahogany wood. A keyhole at the back will enable the plaque to hang against the wall.
The Declaration of Independence is one of the nation’s most cherished symbols of liberty and MilitaryPlaques.Com greets all Americans a Happy Independence Day!
